Protozoa
Protozoa are a diverse group of single-cell eukaryotic organism. Throughout history, protozoa have been defined as single-cell eukaryotic microogranism. They can grow as long as 1 mm and are seen easliy through a microscope. They were considered formerly to be part of the protista family. Protozoa exist throughout aqueous nvironments and soil occupying a range of trophic levels. Some protozoa are human parasites, causing diseases such as malaria, amoebasis, giardiasis.
